Join C3 as a patient or caregiver 

The C3 was created to improve care through patient-focused research

The first step is to meet you where you are.

Click "Become a C3 Member" to get started!

Steps: 

1. Click "Become a C3 Member"

2. Fill out the "Intake Form" for Patients or Caregivers

3. Read and Sign the Terms and Conditions form

4. Complete the Sociodemographic and Medical History forms

5. When these steps are complete, the Research Navigator will reach out to you to book your first meeting

​​​Being a C3 Member gives you access to:

  • A community of Canadians affected by biliary tract cancer and experts in the field

  • The monthly C3 Member newsletter

  • Informational meetings with the C3 Research Navigator

  • Information about clinical trials

  • Patient Care Kits (for Patients only)

  • The opportunity to have your case presented at C3 National Biliary Tract Cancer Multidisciplinary Rounds**

  • Sharing your information to the C3 National Patient Registry

  • Access to C3-funded coverage for molecular testing**

  • The opportunity to participate in current and future research

How to access the C3 Research Opportunities

The C3 has many research opportunities that are available to C3 Members.

Requirements:​

  • You have met with the C3 Research Navigator and have read/signed our Informed Consent Forms.  ​

​C3 Research Opportunities means:

  • Contributing to the greater mission of improving care through research

  • Using your shared data to generate Real World Evidence to further cholangiocarcinoma research and care

  • ​Future clinical research opportunities, trials, and studies which may be of interest to you

The Canadian Cholangiocarcinoma Collaborative (C3) is supported by a Canadian Cancer Society Breakthrough Team Grant in partnership with the Canadian Institutes of Health Research. The granting funds for C3 are managed by The Ottawa Hospital Research Institute, which serves as the lead institute for all collaborative operations.
