Cholangiocarcinoma Advocacy

Being an advocate can means many things. Here are some common activities that advocates do that make a huge impact on cholangiocarcinoma care in Canada.

  1. Raise awareness

  2. Build and participate in community advocacy groups and support groups

  3. Fundraise for a cause

  4. Share your story and experiences

  5. Empower and encourage fellow advocates

The Canadian CCA Advocates meeting

Together with the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation and Cholangio-Hepatocellularcarcinoma Canada, we facilitate monthly advocacy meetings on Zoom. During these sessions we delve into the most recent advancements in cholangiocarcinoma care within Canada, plan advocacy events, and brainstorm ways to amplify our collective voice to enhance cholangiocarcinoma awareness. Meetings are every second Wednesday of the month from 5:30pm-6:30pm EST on Zoom.
